Our Policies

30 Day Return Policy

To ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase, Quest Fine Jewelers offers a thirty (30) day return guarantee. You have 30 days from the invoice date to return any item, other than a custom or special ordered piece, for a full refund or exchange.

Articles are accepted for return only if it is unused, in original condition, and, where applicable, in the original gift box with all the warranty cards and instruction booklets intact.

All returns are refunded in the original form of payment, except for bank wires. Refunds made to orders paid by bank wire, cash or check will be issued by company check and require ten (10) business days to process.

Return Procedures

Please note that returns will not be accepted and refused unless all of the following procedures and conditions are met.

  1. Contact Quest Fine Jewelers at 703.204.0111 and request a Return Authorization Number (RAN #). Returns will be not be accepted unless the package displays a valid RAN #.

  2. Secure all merchandise and make sure that movement is restricted. Be sure to include the original invoice, diamond certificates, and any accompanying materials along with the package. It is preferred that you use a cardboard box when shipping the package back to Quest and these shipping supplies can be purchased at your local post office or mailing center.
  3. Ship the package via United States Postal Service - Registered Mail
    1. Returns shipped via any other method will be refused (i.e. FedEX, UPS, DHL)
    2. The package must be insured for the full value of the diamond/jewelry.
    3. You must request a return receipt.
  4. Once the package has been received by Quest and the contents have been inspected and confirmed, a refund will be issued in the original form of payment, except for bank wires.

Bank Wire Discounts

Orders $750 or greater may be paid via bank wire. Quest will apply a 1.5% discount to your total purchase when you choose to pay by this method. Please note that some banks may charge a fee for using a bank wire and it may take up to 2 business days for wire transactions to be cleared by our bank.

Personal Check/Bank Check/Money Order

When paying via personal check, certified bank check or money order, it will take approximately 7-10 business days for the funds to clear. Orders will not be shipped until funds have been cleared by our bank. All check payments (personal, bank, or money order) must be drawn from a US bank account. In addition, Quest may request additional documentation to process these orders such as driver's license, photocopy of a credit card, etc.

No Sales Tax For Non-VA Purchases

If you are not a Virginia resident, and you choose to have the merchandise shipped to an address outside Virginia, you are not required to pay the VA sales tax.
